this is my journal ... i write it as i go ... it has typos ... it's not perfect ... but then ... neither am i September 24, 1996          Received a 19 day reject from CRANK! to go with my 18 day reject from them yesterday. Also a 39 day reject from Analog with a pleasant note from Dr. Schmidt.      Progress yesterday on the anthology short story, but none so far today.
