The vacation is over. No turkey on Thanksgiving...just all the Mahi Mahi and shrimp we could eat. Yes, Brigid got sick fo rthe past two days, and yes, there were a few misadventures along the way. But overall, a nice little vacation in the Keys. It's taken two days to catch up on all my e-mail and CI$/Genie accounts. Now I can start writing again. The mailbox was not empty when we returned. Rejection count up to 92 after getting turned down by ROF (Yellow form with a request to see more--first sign of progress there for me), Sense of Wonder (my tale was 600 words over their limit), and Tale Spinner. I'm certain I'm missing someone, but hey, I'm still in Key West mode, ya know? On the good side, I still have 11 stories out that appear to be over the max return times reported in Randy D's market list (yes, I know these things don't mean anything but give a poor writer a glimmer of hope and he'll turn it into a full-blown beacon)!
