this is my journal ... i write it as i go ... it has typos ... it's not perfect ... but then ... neither am i December 14, 1996          A pair of additional rejections (Keen...didn't like a flashback...and Century..who knows) brings my total up to 97 for the year. Just learned I should not feel too bad as Josh Langston (IMP extraordinaire!) has 108 this year.      Started serious work on a short story this morning, hope to bring it further along this afternoon. News from Mike Resnick...The dinosaur anthology has a new title. It will now be The Return of the Dinosaurs. I'll put up the table of contents here in a couple days or so.
