Had a great Christmas, and a wonderful New Year celebration (played cards with Lisa and Mom and Dad), drank champagne at midnight...all the prerequisits.

Congratulations to Jason Tanner for his recent sale to Talebones! (Insert Green GIF of jealosy)

Rejections from Asimov's and Pirate Writings in the last two days of the year brought my total for the year to an even 100. Time to start again!

On that note, I've finished the rewrite of "A Place Called Home". Now it's up to Lisa and maybe a couple others. Also finished the first draft of another story that's untitled at the present. It was inspired by a passage in Alexander Lake's "Killers in Africa", a wonderful book of the true life adventures of an early 20th century safari hunter.

Finally, if you come back here a a few days, you'll find this section of my page changed. I'll be archiving the late 1996 "Trials and Tribulations" info in a link so as to keep you from having to download the whole thing every time you check it out.
