Finally the Reject-o-matic moves as I received a 20 day rejection from CRANK!. I was beginning to think the editors of this country had decided to compleetely ignore me! Much has been happening in my writing life over the past few weeks. Sorry to have been gone so long! On the novel front, I read Lisa Silverthorne's novel dare effort. It was wodnerful, very inspiring, several powerful and lingering images. Give her another 2-3 wekks to hammer out a few kinks and I think she's got a winner here. On the short story note, TSR has stopped production for the short term (a fact which apparently everyone but me knew). This means "True Power" will not be out in Dragon until sometime in the future. That's the bad news. The good news is that this means I'm still eligible for the L. Ron Hubbard contest for another cycle at least. This is important in that I've just finished a short story, newly retitled "Echoes in a Shattering Silence" which needs a place to reside for three months or so.  Daily Persistence is © Ron Collins |
