Short reject from Talebones.

Finished a short story entitled "Riding the Wire". Again, this one started as an IMPex, and originally wrote itself out at just over 3K words. In its latest manifestation, it's a 5,200 worder.

A short blurb of support here...if you haven't already read it, get thee hide over to the Talebones magazine web page and read Jason Tanner's "Six". It's a short piece, well worth your time.

Also, I found this letter in the Millenium SF letters page in regard to Lisa Silverthorne's short story "Snow Angel":

Please pass along to Lisa S. Silverthorne my greatest compliments regarding her short story "Snow Angels." It is an honor to appear in the same magazine that contains a piece that high of caliber. "Snow Angels" invoked a sense of melancholy, awe and terror which you don't come across too often these days unless you revisit some of the best of Ray Bradbury. It's a beautiful story, Lisa...Wish I'd written it.

Sincerely, xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Anyone who receives a comparison to early Bradbury has been given high-praise indeed!
