Spent a couple hours over at Charles Eckert's place last night getting him set up on-line. This marks the historical event of the century--the entire Fishers 5 is now accessible on-line! In other, less-exciting news, I waded through the rest of Gene Splice's chapter 12 and the entire extent of chapter 13 this morning. 13 was only 10 pages or so, so it's not quite the accomplishment soe of the other chapters have been...but heck, I'll pat myself on the back anyway! I can honestly say I've started chapter 14 (but would be hard pressed to say more...). I'm pressing on with the story, as it's really flowing, and I'm really enjoying it again. But I think I'm likely going to have to do the same thing with the end as I did with the first nine chapters. in other words, i'll have o spend a full day (or several mornings) going back and knitting the new story line into the main flow. But hey, I can handle it. I'm really enjoying these characters. With any luck I'll be through the primary rewrite before the weekend is out, leaving me the rest of the week to finish up before Worldcon.  Daily Persistence is © Ron Collins |
