The weekend was productive, but not as good as I had really hoped. As of this morning, I'm about 4,000 words into a short story for the group. I hope I can finish it tonight or tomorrow morning as I hate to drop such baggage on them with only a day or two to read it! I wanted to finish the thing so I could spend this week truly finishing Gene Splice, but that was not to be. Oh, well . . . I have such a tough life. On the good news front, Lisa Silverthorne and I have picked up a third Dare-ite! our good friend Kurt Roth will be joining us in November and has planned a mega-100K story for the Dare.
