Pretty good session of the Fishers 5 yesterday. It will go down forever in history as the "THERE WERE BODY PARTS EVERYWHERE" session, after Lisa Silverthorne's critique of Kevin Shadle's novel. We all had a pretty good time, and I think we had some positive discussions afterward.

I'm turning my attention to the teensie bits of Gene Splice that I need to clean up before Lisa gets her hooks into it. She's working on another short job right now that I assume will be done by about Wednesday. So I'm shooting for being in a position where the novel is ready for her by then. Should be able to do that.

It feels good to be catching up, albeit slowly.

Other good news. I received e-mail from Dave Gross last night. "True Power" will be in Dragon #240, due out in about three weeks. This timing makes me (barely) eligible for one more L. Ron Hubbard's Writers of the Future contest.
