Bottom line for today--I couldn't drag my butt out of bed early enough to get any writing done.

     Hey, it happens.

I do have some good news to report, however. No, it's not another sale. But the initial reaction to the play I've written for work has received pretty good reviews so far. We've held a couple trial runs so far, and I've made a few tweaks here and there to the script. It's a 9-10 page effort that runs about 15-20 minutes in play form.

I'm sure it's nothing like the great Schmoe-lad, Kurt Roth could whip up. But it's been a blast so far (after getting through the inital shock of it, anyway)!

It may not be a paying gig ... er, well, maybe it's the biggest paying gig of them all . . . depends on you perspective, I guess. But there is certainly a little pressure there. I'll admit I would hate to bomb in front off all these people I know, then have to go to work the next day and face them all!
