what a beautiful day, eh? Lots of sunshine and a crisp wind in the air.

Brigid and I rode bikes together today. And I took her to her Brownie/Girl Scout gathering. This evening we're going down to Louisville to see my Ma and Pop. Tomorrow. Lisa and I join to legions of folks who've seen The Titanic.

I haven't finished the gangster thing, but it's nearly there. I made major progress Friday, and know exactly where it's going. If I get a few hours Sunday I'll knock it off. Otherwise, it'll finish Monday morning. I hope . I did receive a very prompt rejection from Altair yesterday, so the Accept-O-Matic rings another notch.

The "big news", is that I decided to go slightly commercial and become an associate of Amazon.com. What this means is that I select a few books and offer links to Amazon.com. If anyone actaully buys something through these links, I get a small stipend. I thought about this for quite awhile before doing it.

I mean, seriously.

Yes, I'm in the business of selling printed words.

But selling them through the site felt strange. But then I looked at it from a different perspective. I'm not selling anything here. Amazon.com is doing the selling. All I'm doing is recommending. As long as you understand I get smoething for anything you buy from my link, I guess I'm okay.

This is how I'll let people know what I've read, and what I've liked. Believe me, I'll NOT be putting books in my recommendation page merely to get someone to buy from this link. If you see it there, you can be certain I've read it, and that I loved it. The only exception to this rule will be my own material (scant as it is). Of that, I'm certainly biased!

Anyway, have at it.

And have a great day!
