     Wow.

I'm not even sure where to begin.

Let's see. First, there's Diana Rowland, who has just been selected to go to Clarion West this summer--which is so way-cool. Someday, I'll say I did a Dare with her and everyone will be terribly impressed. I suppose everyone's heard Kurt Roth is having, like, his boy-hood idols do his play--which is great beyond belief.

Lisa, my beloved, and the soon-to-be-world-famous copy editor (who probably cringes everytime she reads this page) is now booked up with work through late April, and has authors specifically asking for her, as well as the whole of a major book company boggling at her capabilities.

The mob story has basically shaken itself out and will be ready for the soon-to-be-world-famous copy editor tomorrow.

And I received word from another writer that he's reccomended "The Test of Time" for the Nebula award. Still way too far to go in way too little time to think much will come of it, but a little ego-boo can really make my day sometimes, you know?

All this succes makes the rejection I received from the Urbanite seem miniscule--especially since the rejection came with a full page letter that spoke quite highly of the tale and basically said the reason he didn't buy it was that it didn't meet the theme of any of his next three issues (and a few other bits, too).

Not quite a check, but I can live with it.

Heck, maybe I will respond to that Publisher's Clearinghouse Sweepstakes letter!
