I completed a short story tentatively titled "The Dragon Hunt of Kayala Silversmith" yesterday. I'm not sure I like the title, no, let me say I definitely don't like the title. But I'll work at getting the right one after I have a person or three read it.

This is the first fantasy I've written for several months, and I found it quite refreshing. Fantasy is different for me than science fiction. In many ways it's much more natural--maybe because I read tons of fantasy as a late teen ager, and maybe because I played Dungeons and Dragons while in college. Whatever the cause, fantasy is generally not very difficult for me to write.

It's also what I sell the most of.

So tell me again why it's been so long since I last wrote the stuff?
