Been getting lots of little stuff finished this morning.

I combed through the galleys for "Ties that Bind", and returned them to Randy at AS&S. I responded to some e-mail from Artis Trust at SF Central, and as a result, he's already published, Anybody Seen My Sense of Wonder", my first column for them.

Also managed to change an address I managed to miss--sent a story to CRANK! awhile back with a bad addy...a lesson in how not to pay attention to the markets! And I've had a little e-mail discourse with a guy who knows a bit more about Europa than I do! Thank goodness.

I'm starting to take a course in Dynamic HTML at ZDNet University, too. So we'll see what that does to my writing time for the next few weeks. On the positive side, maybe I'll roll a few kinda cool changes into the site. We shall see, we shall see.

"The artist appeals to that part of our being which is not dependent on wisdom; to that in us which is a gift and not an acquisition--and, therefore, more permanently enduring. He speaks to our capacity for delight and wonder, to the sense of mystery surrounding our lives: to our sense of pity, and beauty, and pain."
Joseph Conrad
