My congratulations to Lisa Silverthorne for her sale of "The Wishing Stones" to MZB's Sword and Sorceress anthology. And, in a second piece of good news, congratulations also to Vera Nazarian for her own sale to that publication! I'm floating on air for them both.

Well, it's looking like I'm nearing the 10,000 visitor mark. What should I do to commemorate the occasion? Hmmm . . . I tell you what. Whoever can e-mail me a copy of my front page with the number 10,000 in the visitor section will receive anice shiny copy of the issue of Adventures of Sword and Sorcery that contains my tale "Ties that Bind" (which should be published any day now). Of course, you have to send me your home address, too. [grin]

You're on your own honor system to not do the "reload" thing, okay?

I've added to my book recommendations" page. The new title is:

Dark Water's Embrace by Stephen Leigh

I know Stephen from the convention circuit (just so you know), and I heard him read the first portion of the tale at Rivercon some time ago. It's a story that is very hard to describe, character driven, simple at its heart but complex in the way that life is. Very compelling.

On the personal front, I've made a little progress on a new idea or two. Nothing overly spectacular, just the normal "getting the wheels spinning" process.

     Interesting comcept
that might help carpal tunnel sufferers.
