I promised Mark J. McGarry that I would add the SFWA Bulletin onto my magazine links section, and I really will. But until I do, I've just tagged it onto the sign-off area below. Feel free to check it out. The Bulletin is a fine little magazine for the aspiring writer, and I certainly recommend it. I should state, however, that I am not associated with the publication in any form whatsoever (with the exception of being a SFWA member, of course).

Anyway, on with our normally scheduled broadcast.

I received a rejection yesterday that was a fairly big one. My novel "The Price of Vengeance" came back after some 21 months at HarperCollins. I had been expecting it, since I had been in contact with the editor over the past couple months, and he let me know it was winging its way here. Still, it's a sad little manuscript sitting over there in its corner waiting for whatever comes next.

But hey, all rejections are equal in the eyes of the "Accept-O-Matic," so ring it up and move on.

For those interested, there was no "winner" of the 11,000th hit prize, so we'll carry it over. If you didn't figure it out, my sister-in-law ran a marathon Sunday--a big deal if you ask me. And she did great, finishing in 12,273rd place (out of over 18,000 runners) in a time of 5:41:47. A hearty well-done to Michelle!

In her honor, I think I'll roll the "hit prize" over to 12,273. Don't worry about remembering that number--I'll tag it onto the front page here in a day or two (probably the same time I remember to modify my magazine page to include the Bulletin!.

Gotta get going, have a great day.

Another example of my neverending quest to provide writers with totally vital information
