Doing lots of ticky-tack little things this morning. Tomorrow starts the Kris Rusch and Dean Smith show up in Indianapolis, which I'm excited about. So I spent the morning basically cleaning up in preparation of a burst of energy when I get back. End result:
Several magazines filed. One contract read (for WotF). Several scraps of junk tossed. CD's partially filed. Over the past couple days, I've had rejections from Realms of Fantasy(30 days), Aboriginal(74 days), and SF Age (18 days). Both Shawna McCarthy's and Scott Edelman's were encouraging, so I guess that's something. Also received the Bridge contract for "The Disappearance of Josie Andrew", and the galley proofs for "Stan". Thanks so much for all your e-mail over the past couple days. That's one of the really nice fringe benefits of keeping this place up and going, you know? i enjoy hearing from ya'll . . . By the way, I've taken the "shell" out of my journal page now, so you shouldn't be diverted to the front page at this point. Let me knw if anything goes haywire! of course, you need to see the front page in order to win the (apparently) limited edition of Adventures of Sword and Sorcery with my story in it.
