Lots of good progress to report.

I'm nearing the 60K barrier of Glamour of the God-touched, and Lisa has started her copy-edit. The only problem here is that she's working at a rate that I'm not sure I can keep up with--meaning she might hit a spot about Friday or Saturday where she'll need to take a break and wait for more!

I am hoping to finish by the end of the weekend, though, and I think that has a reasonable chance of happening.

The story is shaping up nicely, too. Overall, most of everything is behaving exactly like I expect it to--the outline is almost pristine--and things are really going smoothly. Yes, there have been a few minor deviations. But overall, this is the way to do it.

Garrick continues to impress me, as does Darien (his cohort). I'm having a great time writing the thing.

And best of all, the whole family's gotten into it.

Lisa, of course is actively working on the book. But Brigid volunteered to do my "clean-up" chores at night to give me time to write--and she even got up this morning (at 4:00, believe it or not) and sat with me, reading her book while I wrote. Personally, I think that had more to do with the fact that she has big plans for later this morning, though. So I'm not putting a whole lot of credence in this one. [grin].

But still, she's really into it, asking me how I've done and whether I like how the story is working. I've even caught her checking out my "Story Wall" of post-its every now and again.

     Anyway, gotta go. Work calls.

     Have a great day.
