Good day on the writing front overall, and it's really not quite done. I'm sitting at 16,800 words done today, just over 82,000 for the whole thing. And I'm going to finish up a chapter tonight that should push me to about 18-19,ooo words for the day. Even better news is that Lisa's [the copy editor/wife, not the writer] only 8,000 words behind me in her copy edit, and she's saying nice things about what she's read so far. You can take my word on the fact that if she dind't like it, she wouldn't have a real problem telling me. So, onward and upward. See you tomorrow. 1:47 p.m. Just a quick update here today . . . I'll try to get back to something worthwhile later tonight if I get time. In the meantime, I'll report that I've had an 8,900 word morning. Then I stopped to cut the grass and eat and all the other mundane stuff that life is made of. The goal for the day is to hit something between 15-17K.
