Okay, just one last thing on the subject.

Ever wonder why the Democrats are jumping off the bandwagon if 60% of the people support him?

Anne-Marie is finally getting her prize.

Remember that 12,273rd hit prize? A copy of AS&S complete with a story by moi? Ann-Marie Horcher will be seeing it in her mailbox real soon now--hear that Ann-Marie?

This morning has been filled with getting manuscripts ready for the mail, which, for me, is a strange, production line-type process. There's letters and there's prinitng manuscripts. Then there's matching manuscripts to letters, and adding correct addresses to correct envelopes, and printing the names of stories on SASEs (legibly, please). Then there's double checking everything to make certain the process worked (inevitibly it doesn't, so there's reshuffling). There's stamps--the stick on type to save my tongue. And there's sealing envelopes--so much for the tongue.

Then there's logging submissions in at least two places, adding new publications to databases (I always do this part at least twice due to errors--hey, I'm an engineer at heart, remember?).

Next thing you know, a morning is pretty much shot.
