Made the final pass at "A Gathering of Bones". It goes into the mail now.

I've collected three rejections in the past two days, including two from Odyssey. The first came in at 298 days, which is a bit hard to swallow for something under 100,000 words of length. But the second was more along the order of 60 days. So it sounds like Liz is getting her house in order.

Tomorrow I leave for the Writers of the Future thing. The plane leaves from Louisville--which means I get to see my parents in the morning. Always a nice event. I'm assuming I'll be able to update the place from LA, so hang tight, okay?

Oh yeah, the contest. eep! Almost forgot.

As we near the 15,000 hit mark, I've decided that the person who hits that number will receive a free copy of the WotF anthology with my story "The Disappearance of Josie Andrew" in it. So if you see the number, 15000, when you log into the place, just send me the page (and your address), and I'll mail it to you!

     Have a great day.
