"Author Services, Inc. cordially invites you to attend the 14th Annual L. Ron Hubbard Achievement Awards . . . party immediately follows"

Airline tickets received. Computer situated (files transfered, e-mail connection tested), supplies arranged, bags packed (almost).

The flight leaves at 11:00 a.m. from Louisville, so I'll hop in the car here in another hour and a half to get down there. I'm excited. Or at least I'm getting there. And it's not like it's Clarion or anything.

Gotta run and finish the morning. Will likely update when I get in this evening.

10:04 a.m.

Plane pushes back from gate right on time.

11:14 a.m.

I kid you not. Steak for lunch.

3:04 p.m.

Flying over the Grand Canyon. Way cool. The trees line the upper ridge like a pine-colored billard cloth.

5:40 p.m.

Made it.
