this is my journal ... i write it as i go ... it has typos ... it's not perfect ... but then ... neither am i [ writing, writing, and more writing ] September 28, 1998 7:57 a.m.          Wow. What a great day yesterday was. Everyone met at 8:30 or so, and got piled into a huge stretch limo. It was quite cool, even though the TV didn't seem to work, despite my playing with all the buttons. We did the tour of L. Ron Hubbard's works, then got directly to workshopping.      We did story construction and idea generators, then we were given an assignment to do--plot out a story and provide a pair of endings.      We didn't have to write it, you know. But that's not my style.      I finished the first draft at about 11:00 last night, then got up early and revised it this morning. It's a pretty cool piece titled "Stealing the Sun".
