I really am redesigning the place, okay? I really am. It's just that it's going quite slowly.

That I'm starting to get a cold doesn't seem to be helping much. Brigid and Lisa appear to be coming down with it, too, so you have to figure we probably caught it all int he same place.

While I'm at it though, I thought I might take a moment and ask folks who read this page regularly if there are any pet peeves you have about the site. This can be anything from download times to the colors I've chosen to . . . well, whatever bothers you. I figure now's the time to listen to complaints, so have at it and I'll see if I can take them into account for the next version.

For those paying attention, don't you love that Bill Gates has taken the Ollie North approach in the Microsoft anti-trust case? After all these years of hearing how Gates keeps his thumbprint on every product that Microsoft develops, and is the head strategic thrust of the company?

Despite using Netscape's browser suite almost exclusively, I am not a Microsoft hater. But I do have a hard time with the "I don't recall" defense in this case. At least Ollie had a small shred of plausibilty.

The next draft of "Stealing the Sun" nears completion. I also received a few comments back from "Wail . . ." that I need to look at in more detail. One thought in particular, I think, requires a bit of attention--but we're talking 1-3 hours of work at most.
