Just trying to get in gear here this morning. We stayed up too lat last night watching a movie, Searching for Bobby Fisher, which we had taped years ago and hadn't watched. Enjoyed it, though, so it was worth it.

We talked to Brigid on the phone the other night. She's doing great in D.C. -- probably holding up better in the "missing" each other department than Lisa and I are. She comes home Sunday night. It'll be really nice to have her back.

So I took my mulligan on the Sweeping Story a couple days ago (gotta find a title again sometime!). Now I've got another take one it, and am humming right along. I've got the thing outlined, and the first couple hundred words written. It works well with what I had envisioned for it--sweeping without being so epic that it needs a novel. With any luck I should finish a draft over the weekend. Stranger things have happened.

I would particularly like that, though, because that would mean I would have written two stories in a week's time, and it's been awhile since I accomplished that.

     Have a good one.
