this is my journal ... i write it as i go ... it has typos ... it's not perfect ... but then ... neither am i ... moving right along ... June 9, 1999 6:50 a.m.          The draft of the story formerly known as "Phantom Lives" is now complete. It's a little ragged, still, and I know I'll need a little smoothing. the last five pages still need detailed fleshing. It should round out at somewhere around 5,000 words.      But I think it's a fairly complete story now--unlike previously.      Of course, there's this problem with the title. Maybe "Phantom Lives" still works. I don't know . . . I'll have to sleep on it a little.      Maybe I can get Tippi to just toss one out here for me. [G]               Have a good one.
