Riding Out the Storm
August 13, 1999 6:44 a.m.
We had a major thunderstorm until late this morning. What this means is that I didn't finish the as yet untitled short story I've been working on.

But writing is more than putting words into a computer.

I spent the morning working out a few plot points on next week's story. I figure I'll work that one's first draft, then come back and do a second draft on the story I've been working on this week. Essentially just doing a switchblock on days (the first story will be done through the draft stage on a day I had planned to scope out the second story).

At least, that's the plan.

Assuming no thunderstorms.

Have a great one, 'kay?
