The WotF thing is drawing closer every minute it seems. I still don't feel 100%, and there's about a billion things I want to get done before I leave Sunday. I spent about an hour and a half last night getting myself set up to receive my e-mail and be able to post to the site through my laptop. So, I'll be able to update daily from LA.

Everything I do, I do it for you. :)

I finished what I think is the last draft of "The Taranth Stone," and now it's waiting for Lisa's copy edit. So, this morning was spent putting together submission packages for a couple stories that have been hanging around for a bit, clearing my desk of junk, and whatnot. I've got to get fitted for a tux here sometime, and decide on how to get to the airport in Indy for a 6:30 A.M. flight Sunday.

That's right. Takeoff at 6:30 a.m.

The same craziness is going on at work, where I'm trying to teach myself the intricacies of data warehousing, working on a couple of intriguing managerial events, and playing a juggling act with a pair of projects that are in strange stages. Then there's Y2K prep that's starting to go into overdrive. With luck i'll avoid that, though.

If I stop and think about it, I can get really, really tired.

Really, really fast.

So, the best thing I've found for me to do at these stages is to just put my head down and drive on.

Boy--I had about a gazillion things I wanted to write about in today's entry. Guess it'l have to wait until tomorrow.

Have a good one.
