Another Week, Another Story
October 4, 1999 6:54 a.m.
We spent most of our weekend in Louisville with my parents, which was fun. I got to talk all about the week in LA, and all, and we got to catch up with them. Mom's birthday is next week, and Dad's was a couple weeks ago, so we did the birthday thing.

Dad did steaks on the grill.

Never a bad deal, there, by the way.

When we returned, I spent most of my time critiquing. This morning, I did a pass at "The Vacation." Tomorrow, I hope to finish it enough to send on to Lisa for the copy edit stage.

Bottom line: I'm trying very hard to get myself back intot he swing of things. I need my process to be working at full bore here for the next couple weeks to get through my WotF backlog, and I've got a new story I want to get out this week, too. The good news is that things are coming together. I feel lik eI'm right in the middle of the most hectic part of the schedule (between personal things on the agenda and my writing goals), and I've somehow managed to stay within a day or so of my goals.

So, now's the time for the "naturally" boyant spirit to rise up and carry me through.

Yeah, right.

[ grin ]

See ya tomorrow.
