A Tiny chunk
August 22, 2000 7:37 a.m.
Sorry I don't have much time for an entry today. No I'm not.

Okay.

I'm schitzo today. (I hear you, all right ... what makes today any different from yesterday, right? How many times do I have to remind folks that there's no kibitzing from the peanut gallery, dangit?).

The problem today is that I've struck an idea that I really like, see? And I want to write it, see? But I have to go to work. So, instead I've gotten the entire story down in a tiny little chunk, and will have to come back to it later. I really hate that.

It's among the worst things about having a regular job, you know? I hate leaving a hot story on the monitor right at the good part. But this is the lot we new folks have in life. Write 'em a bit at a time. Make 'em happen come heck or high water.

It's a tough life. I'm sure you feel my pain. [grin]

So tomorrow I'll be back at it.

As always, eh?

Have a great day.

Hot story on the monitor? Eewwww...
