     So the experiment is on.

Yeah, you knew I would do it, didn't you?

In the end, I just figured what the heck.

I spent a little time coming up with a form--pretty basic. Two pages. A few questions and a little matrix to annotate. Then I sent the form and the story to a collection of folks. If you think ou volunteered and didn't receive the story, please drop me a note. Assuming there's anything of interest to be gained when it's done, I'll report on it. Otherwise, it'll be business as usual. If anyone wants to join, there's still time. But I'll warn that I'm asking for response by next weekend.

So, I'm on to a minor rewrite of an older story. Expect to be done with that tomorrow. And I've got the follow-up draft of the story I wrote right after World-con. Then it's onto something different. Not sure exactly what I'll do. There are so many choices.

It's, perhaps, the only advantage of being a new writer without anything even vaguely resembling a contract!

So we played monopoly last night. I won.

Is Monoploy the quintessential American game, or what?

Tomorrow I'm going to Tennessee for a business trip. I'll be there through the week. I expect I'll be able to update remotely, and will plan on doing so. But if, for some reason things go suddenly quiet, you'll know why.

     Have a great day.

You're pretty predictable
