My Version of the Artist's Date
December 11, 2000 7:07 a.m.
For the past three months, I've been working with a group of folks here locally to do Julia Cameron's "Artist's Way." We're beginning to wind down. The next meeting is the last meeting. One of her big things are morning pages--wherein ou write at least three pages of material before you start your morning. the concept here is that you use the time to whine and or moan or whatever, but you do it while priming the pump. You get words down.

The other of her big things is the concept of an Artist's Date. This iw where you go do something frivolous for no other reason than to feed your brain.

You, of course, are now suffering through something I'll call an Artist's Date. Yes, I'm playing with my page again. I don't know that it will stay like this, and I don't know that it won't. I probably have a zillion problems in gillion places. Expect the unexpected.

But, hey ... it is kinda fun.

Have a great day.

Oh, geeze. Here we go again
