I hear that Galaxy Online has now bought the rights to release a print version of Galaxy. Add this to their purchase of Amazing earlier in the year, and you have an interesting company with an interesting line of products. One has to assume that they have at least a general plan for using these titles, and I have to generally think that anything along the lines of opening additional markets is a good thing.

     But I have to wonder.

From the outside looking in, I don't get it.

I thought Galaxy Online stopped publishing/updating a short while ago because they lost their primary venture capital source. When they bought Amazing (probably for a song and dance, but I wouldn't know), they announced it would stay in hiatus, but eventually be a CD publication. So, read between the lines, and you get that they were planning a low cost, shoestring budget affair, anyway.

This doesn't sound like a robust situation for purchasing another title to me.

Of course, what it really means is that I don't have all the information at my disposal. So, if anyone knows of any good rumor mongering going on, please feel free to put it on the sidebar or drop me a note.

     Have a great day.
