The Year Settles In

Lisa and I went to see Tom Hanks's "Castaway" this Saturday. Excellent movie. Then I took Brigid and a friend to see "The Emperor's New Groove" yesterday. In between there, I managed to get a little writing done on the short story I had talked about before. Getting it to the very end is always a pain, but I think it's ready.

So, off it will go.

Also did a little cleaning of the site. Fixed up the bibliography a little, and finished putting all of last year's journal into the new format.

Very busy this morning, too. Mostly I packaged short work for the post office. But I also did a bit of correspondence, and straightened stuff. More importantly, worked to get myself back into the novel--steps that consisted mostly of re-creating the character/timeline spreadsheet I had created before I managed to scour my hard drive. So, we're ready to move into the real work again.

Have a good one.
