It's a Slow River

Made a little progress on the book this weekend, which is good. Not much, though, which is bad. But I'm back on it this morning--working my way through chapter three.

I did manage to download and install another FTP program this weekend, as well as set up a Lanbridge on our home network that will make it easier for us to use the Net at home. This was another of those tasks that's been on my "To Do" list for something under a year, and I've finally gotten to. Next I'll have to sink as low as to consider "Clean the garage." And I took the first step in making the journal a bit more user friendly by developing the "digest" approach. Click on the number of days you want to see (on the main daily persistence page), and I'll compile them in day-by-day order for you.

     You guys are so lucky.

And I finished "The Collapsium," which I thought was a great SF book--lots of cool extrapolation and engineering gobbledygook. So, things move along. It's a slow river, but at least it's pointed in the right direction.

     Have a good day.
