2,150 words:

I've got an early morning session for the real job today, and so I don't have much time for an entry. Progress today was fortuitously boosted by the fact that I've run into an area of the story I had already basically written. So I went through it and massaged a little,a nd I added a little ...

... and ended up with something over 2,000 words I could credit to my account. In some ways these bits that I'm weaving back into the story make it feel like I'm on cruise control in relation to the whole "Dare thing," which is interesting to me if for no other reason but that I've not felt it before.

See you tomorrow. Have a great day.

"I know some great writers, writers you love who write beautifully and have made a great deal of money, and not one of them sits down routinely feeling wildly enthusiastic and confident. Not one of them writes elegant first drafts. All right, one of them does, but we do not like her very much."

Anne Lamott
