A Blurb on Momento

     Very busy ... very busy.

Progress on the book ... very slow ... very slow ... but still forward. Progress at work ... very slow ... very slow. But forward. Progress at home ... very slow ... well, you get the drift.

I just cannot believe that it's halfway through June.

We went to Louisville for Father's Day weekend, and in the process managed to see Momento. Interesting film from the viewpoint of storytelling mechanism. I'll not give anything away about it, though.

Based on the reviews it's getting, I think I'm in the vast minority of people who didn't really care for it. Perhaps I'll talk about it in my newsgroup in order to keep people from accidentally reading about it here.

Yes, I do recommend you seeing it, because it's worth it as a lesson in storytelling. But for me there are several things that didn't work--or, as Lisa said "It's no Moulin Rouge."

     [grin].

     Have a great day.
