The rewrite is started, and I'm feeling like a pig waist-deep in slop. Without getting too literal in this association, let me just say how great it is to be working in words again.

Yesterday saw me through six chapters, and today saw me through the seventh--though I'm not quite ready to claim this last is finished. I still have one issue that I need to think my way through. I figure I may get a chance at lunch to scan through this chapter once more.

In case you don't read Karen Meisner's "Thought Experiment," I thought I would send you off to one of her entries today. It is a fine effort--one that will certainly strike home to anyone trying to build a career amid the process of leading the rest of our lives.

It stirred up a lot of thoughts in my mind. If I get myself motivated to do something other than the novel here soon, perhaps I'll delve into them.

Great marketing approach, Ron. Tell everyone that you might write something.

Geeze.

Gotta run off to work. Have a great day.
