I suppose I should start by noting that if you point your browser to The Blue Rose Bouquet you'll see my entry "A Trip to Mecca" prominently placed. It's always nice to see your name up in lights. :)

For reasons I'll make clear in the near future, progress is going slowly on the book right now, which is certainly okay.

I will say that I'm catching up on a lot of reading--which is a good thing, too.

I should note here that I picked up "Thunder Rift"--Stephen Leigh's new book written under the name Matthew Farrell and found it to be as interesting as the fifty pages I had read in draft had promised it would be. Steve has this thing about his work that is hard to quantify. When you read it, you can tell that he's put real work in to understanding the alien species he's writing about. Things fit. I like that in an alien species. [grin].

Its a good book. Compelling characters. Interesting plotline. Lots of action. Abit of romance. Something to think about as you leave it.

What more can you ask for, eh?

Have a great day.
