Seeing as I enjoy the process of refining my work, this was a spectacularly good morning behind the keyboard.

I'm now through the first twenty-five pages or so of the book, and I think they are about right. I've done a cursory scan of the next ten or so, and see where I need to focus to improve them and make the story slide by better. The biggest change I'll be making in this chapter is to look at things I've put into exposition and moving it to a place later in the story where the information would naturally come out in dialog.

I'm figuring it should be like this for then next four chapters, then I'll get into some of the new material I intend to add.

The only thing slowing me down right now is that I'm staying up too late, and not getting up early enough. This means I'm really only working an hour a day rather than two.

     Have a great day.
