Setting an Example

More good progress on the latest draft. Overall, I would say I'm somewhere between a half-a-day and a day behind where I wanted to be, but there's still a chance of finishing the new material I'm working out by the end of the weekend. Assuming that happens, I'll be able to finish the draft by the end of January.

     Go me.

Brigid's first submittal package is setting on my desk waiting for me to drop it at the post office. She worked out a cover letter and passed her mother's proofreading/copyediting process, then stuffed the whole thing into a mailer along with a #10 SASE.

Last night she put about a thousand words down on another story.

I woke up this morning itching and ready to write. I figure if she can do it, so can I--nothing like a good example in the family to keep me working.

     Have a great day.
