Vicious Politics

Managed only a moderately productive morning, as much of my time was spent fixing a snafu over some Very Important SFWA Stuff relating to the Forum. Where was it that I recently read a quote (not related directly to SFWA) that attributed a group's love of vicious politics to the fact that the stakes were so small?   I was hoping to be through the hardest work today, but alas, that was not to be. So tomorrow looms as the hard stuff deadline. I hope. I've spent a lot of time smoothing in this section. A lot of time. And I think it works all right. When I'm finished with the section, I'll spend an hour or so going back over the last 50 pages or so and seeing if I've done what I've thought I did.
