Catching Up

So it's been awhile. Sorry. It's been really busy here, and I've had to prioritize a few things. Here's the latest: Lisa finished copy editing the book. It's sitting on my desk, waiting for me. I expect I'll begin the final pass for real this weekend. Yesterday and today I put the final touches on the collaboration I wrote with John Bodin. It's a fun story with the Indy 500 as the central setting. John was absolutely the perfect collaborator on it. The short story I mentioned in an earlier post is complete, but I can't say I really like it. I think the problem I have with it is that I wrote it in a series of disjointed moments, and so it has this choppy, incompleteness to it. I figure I'll leave it sit for a week or three and look at it again. (Gives me time to zip through the book, right?) [grin] I'm hoping I get back into a semi-regular cycle here next week or so.
