The Beginning of the Last, Last, Last Pass

Lisa (the copy editor/wife) will take Brigid to Louisville today. Tomorrow they will visit a high school. It's the same high school that Lisa went to when she was a young girl. Brigid is only in the seventh grade, so we don't have to make any decisions right away, but Lisa and I have always talked about the possibility of Brigid going to school there, and this is the beginning of Brigid's spring break time, so now is the time to at least check it out.

I have to say that the idea of Brigid in high school is an image that's going to take more than a little getting used to.

I'm through about a hundred pages of the book. I think it's shaping up really well so far. Lisa's work is outstanding, and has given me a couple opportunities to add depth to a few key places. She had a point or two of contention later in the book that I'll have to look at for additional detailed work, but I don't think "fixing" them will be too hard.

I would normally say that I hoped to be done "for good" by the end of the weekend, but we have plans for the weekend, so I'm expecting it will be done sometime in the next two weeks.

     Strange feeling.

     Have a great day.
