One thing After the Other
April 22, 2002 7:13 a.m.
This weekend was a blur. It was one thing after the other, but all of them pretty much good.

We went to Indy Saturday and saw Lisa Silverthorne. It was a great time, as always. Then I spent a majority of Sunday cleaning and restoring the two old computers that we replaced earlier this year. We're planning on giving them to a school, and figure it's always nice to start with a fresh installation of Windows. ALong the way, I messed with my own XP set-up, which remains a danged confusing operating system in my book, but has the advantage of being pretty danged stable.

I also managed to find a little time to start hacking on a second collaboration that John Bodin and I have decided to undertake. And the story I spoke of last week is still nearing completion (first draft, anyway). Played a game of Scrabble with Lisa last night--she blew me out of the water this time, scoring big on an early play an putting me in a defensive hole I could never manage to get out of.

So, in the end, it was a danged busy, and pretty productive weekend.

About the only thing I didn't do was cut the grass.

Dang. [grin]

Have a great day.
