So I headed over to the SFF.NET site to look for an e-mail address, and the heading "Hidden Treasures of SFF.Net" caught my eye, and then I noticed the top link said "The Best of Daily Persistence" by Ron Collins. Of course, I couldn't help but check it out.

So here's the selection they linked to.

     Interesting choice, no?

I don't usually read my own journal (no comments from the typo crew, all right?), but I'll admit I read this one again. It felt kind of strange. Perhaps its some weird karma thing, but I got caught in a couple of political discussions at WorldCon, wherein I was quickly reminded how much people seem to like to jump to positions around political ideas. The selection they chose was obviously a huge example of that. Reading my words on the topic, I still think a lot of the same things.

And I'm still just as disappointed in us.

     Oh, well.

The good news is that Stealing the Sun is ready.

     Have a great day.
