The Palcebo Effect, With Twists

Lisa sent me this link about ramifications of the placebo effect over the weekend. Interesting. People are just totally strange.

It was a pretty solid weekend behind the keyboard. I’ve noted a few times here that I’m breaking a novel into novella-length pieces, and I managed to get all the way through the third piece. I spent this morning reworking the ending of the third segment. I think it’s working.

The story is a work of fairly traditional fantasy, with a bit of a twist.

Of course.

What is life without the twists, eh?

The rest should be pretty much downhill (heard that before, though). With some luck maybe I’ll be able to finish this pass by the end of the week. If so, perhaps then I’ll get a little more chatty about the project. 🙂

In the meantime, the morning music program has consisted of Frank Sinatra, Gary Numan, and The Cowboy Junkies.

Talk about twists.
